Theta, I once managed to correctly guess (after a number of false starts and a few minor clues) to pinpoint Moomin's location and nearest village through PMs, using maps and pics. Not that I intend to tell you, of course - you can work it out for yourself since you seem to think you can..

It was fun. I also love Geography. I'm sure Moomin will let me know should your deductions eventually prove accurate.

There wasn't any treasure to be found there of course, although we could say that Moomin herself is the treasure.

Actually, what Theta and Enviro have pinpointed is The Island Of Great Cthulhu.

If they are foolish (or foolhardy) enough to visit, I am quite sure they are in for a Very Bad Surprise.

there are tons of small blue things on the beaches here, if they're not beached jellyfish, then i have no idea.

When we went to Vanuatu a couple of years ago, we picked up a coconut on the beach. Cut it open to have some lovely fresh coconut, and it was full of brightly coloured maggots.

Honestly, I didn't hang around long to check. But yes, it looked a lot like that, except these ones were tiny.

my family loves eating steamed chickpeas (guasanas). when we were in mexico, and i was about 5, i remember seeing a caterpillar come out of one of them.

i wouldn't go near them for the longest time.
