Laura laughed. "Well duh! I geuss pokemon are a bigger part of this world than your... Um... Animals? Maybe this world values pokemon more than people? I dunno. I just really like it here, what do you think?"

"Mmm.."

Lilli looked up.
The sky had turned to brilliant streaks of red, and the sun was starting to fall in the sky.

"Y'know, the sunsets here are just like my home.." Lilli whispered.
As they spoke, they slumped down against a tree. They were still admiring the sky.
"They call us 'The Land of the Rising Sun.'"

"...Lilli? Diddnt you say that you didn't wanna go home? Did you get too attached to Skip or something?" Laura asked. Before long, the stars started to spread out across the sky. Laura sat down next to Calem, holding his hand.

"Popplio..?" A familliar sea lion squeaked, asking for attention. "Hey, I think Popplio likes you too!" She smiled.

The past two days with the colorful bunch of people from all the different worlds have been tons of fun. Calem had told her that Lilli was the one who encouraged him to confess his feelings to her. Watching Gunnian and Lilli's battle earlier brought back a lot of memories for her, and she was glad that Mike finnaly had gotten Jason the litten as his first Pokemon.

"Oh, oh my Arceus! Guys look!" The sky could be seen through the glass roof of the garden, and several stars were shooting across the sky.

Lilli didn't answer. They were looking up at the sky vacantly.


Suddenly a bark rang out, and Lilli turned to the side of them.
It was Popplio.
Lilli smiled at Laura's comment.
"Heheh, really?" Popplio ran up and licked Lilli's face.

"Oh, geez!" Lilli laughed. "Hehe. Child, calm down!" They swatted playfully at Popplio.

As Popplio continued attacking Lilli, the sky begin to shift. A stream of shooting stars began to flash down, and Laura pointed them out.

"Whoa." Lilli said.

They'd never seen anything like it.

As they sat back, they realized that all this could be gone in an instant. They'd never see Laura or Mike or Guinan again.

...That was a scary thought.

Lilli spoke suddenly.
"Say, hate to break the pretty picture, but I'm feelin' pretty hungry. Isn't there a restaurant around here?"

They'd heard of it: the One-Star Restaurant. They'd really wanted to go there before, but they didn't have the money.

Mike looks up at the sky. "It's kind of nice to be on Earth, I must admit. I haven't seen a good meteor shower since-" Sam interrupts, "Seriously? That's the password? Dang, digital security here isn't very good."

Mike: "Sweet, so your in? Send a message to the ship with our location, and make it super obvious that it's from me."
Sam: "Roger that, message sent."

Mike turns Laura, "Do you by chance know of any good places to land a space ship?"

"Sir, we have just received a message from Mike." says the person at communications terminal. "How do you know it's from him?" Mason asks. "The message literally begins with the word 'Mike' repeated 200 times followed by a set of GPS coordinates, he made it super obvious." he replies. "Great!" says Mason, "Get that ship to those coordinates." Another person on the bridge interrupts, "Sir, the ship will still be traveling by the time the enemy carriers get here. I just thought you would want to know."

The ship begins making various humming sounds as systems power up. The auxiliary power unit starts up, the hydraulic pumps come online, the fuel pumps warm up, and the turbines in the air breathing engines begin spinning. The two engines on the back rotate to face down and a hatch opens on the front to expose a downward facing engine just behind the front landing gear.

Everyone quickly clears the area as they realize that the ship is powering up. The wind produced by the thrusters knock some things over and a few people loose their hats. All cameras set up near the ship by reporters are trained on it.

The engines fully warm up and ship slowly lifts off the ground vertically. The landing gear folds up as the ship rotates to face the right direction and the engines angle forward sending the ship shooting off into the sunrise. Although only a few people on the ground knew it, on the front landing gear someone had placed a small tracking device.

"Um, well theres Route 17. Hardly anybody goes across cause it snows A LOT, even in summer, but that's all I can think of. And One Star is just down the road!" She chimed.

(Wow, Lilli! Talk about feels! )

"Great, I will instruct the ship to land there when the time comes. I'm pretty hungry, so let's definitely go to that One-Star place. Lead the way." says Mike, rather enthusiastically. The wormhole problem was solved and soon he would finally have a ship to play with, so he was in quite a good mood.

"Okay, I made a left turn here, or maybe I should have made a right..." Laura mumbled. "Hey, mister! Do you know which way One Star is?" She asked the man standing in front of Vernal Avenue. "It's that way, miss." He said, pointing in the other direction. "Oh, right." She deadpanned, running in the other direction. She led everyone into a rather generic looking restaurant, telling the guy that she wanted to eat there, he led them to a table, everybody ordered, and he went to go get everything ready. Laura sighed. "I relly get lost way too easily..." Laura said, holding her face in her hand.

"Don't worry about it, I'm not much better. Not many people can navigate a space craft batter then they can navigate roads, I literally needed to put a navigation system in my arm." says Mike jokingly.

Mike has his left lab coat sleeve rolled down over his robotic arm and he is wearing black gloves that he carries with him to hide his robotic hand because it sometimes draws some unwanted attention. It can be fun seeing how people react when informed about him being from an alternate universe, but it gets old after a while.

Sam is waiting outside. He landed on the roof of the restaurant and he is listening to us with a directional microphone.

"Heh, thanks.." Laura said, smiling.

(Hey! I figured that since Calem is with them a lot I might as well describe him for Gunnian: he's rather pale skinned, has greyish blue eyes, and jet black hair. He wears a blue and white jacket with a stripe running across his shoulders and down the front of it. He has dark grey jeans, boots, a messenger bag running across his chest, and sometimes wears dark red hat. His main Pokemon is Meowstic, a blue and white psycic cat on two legs. Do you need one for Laura?)

In the upper atmosphere east of the Kanto region the ship is flying at ever increasing speed. It was already nearly going Mach 10 and the two air breathing engines had changed shape to become better adapted for hypersonic flight. Suddenly the plane pitches up to gain altitude and once the air breathing engines begin to flame out due to lack of air the rocket engine activates. The engine cuts off after just a few minutes and the ship continues to rise because it's near orbital velocity. It's almost in orbit but that's not the flight plan. Inside the spacecraft a display shows it's trajectory, it intercepts the ground on almost the opposite side of the planet near the Kalos region.

I'm wondering how everyone feels about me bringing a bit of space travel into this. Spoiler alert: the ship is going to make it to Kalos successfully, but then we will have the ability to go to orbit once it's refueled (and possibly repaired) and I also have it set up in the narrative so that I need to go to orbit and make a gravitational anomaly map of that Earth if Mike is ever to find Lilli's wormhole. (Although I do plan on making the wormhole thing in the end be ultimately under the control of Lillikoi) It won't be anything too insane, but it might be quite interesting.

"At least you don't have to teleport," Lilli said.

They unfolded their fork and knife
and placed it in their lap.

"You know they have battles here, right?" Lilli whispered loudly. They leaned toward Mike and Guinan with a sly grin.

Meanwhile a blonde woman scanned them from a nearby table.

So she had company, hmm..

Smirking, she looked around cautiously and then spoke into her watch.
"Boss, I've found the pest."

Earlier, Guinan had looked up from her pokedex investigation, which hadn't been going well anyway, to watch the sky. It was one of those vistas that never got old, and anyway, she hadn't seen it in real life, from Earth, in a long time. As they got ready to leave, she had thanked Professor Sicamore for his hospitality and left with the others.

Guinan hadn't reacted to their getting slightly lost, except to try, unsuccessfully, to pull up a map on the pokedex... wait, she still had the pokedex! "Um... did you all give these back to the professor?" she had asked sheepishly.

Inside the restaurant, Guinan looked over the menu quickly. "I don't have any money," she said, although this was probably obvious to everyone. Q, in his infinite wisdom, had left her with no bag, so she carried the pokeballs and pokedex in plain sight. "Battles?" she said, a little too loudly, to Lily. A lot more quietly, she added, "You know, I haven't seen the pokemon center yet. Isn't that where they train for the battles?" She had practiced with the pokemon together a little while Laura was away, but so far, that was it. She could almost hear Q's cackle at how little she'd accomplished so far.

(OOC: Yes, that's funny about all three directionally challenged characters. Mikeman, also funny about the way Mike sent the message. Midnightstar, thanks for the descriptions. You described Laura earlier in the thread and again when she changed clothes for the day. How about the restaurant though? And also, how much info could Guinan get from the pokedex, aside from the obvious: scanning Pokemon as she sees them? Would she see tons of them in the restaurant also, or would they all be in pokeballs?)

"No, you dont have to give them back. And yes, they do have battles here. But thats okay since I could sweep all of the battles here." Laura chimed. "I could just pay for everything myself, and the Pokemon Center is this place that if you dont have any of those crystals like I let you borrow earlier you just go there to have your pokemon healed, and you can also buy stuff for your pokemon."

"Thank you very much for that," Guinan said with a smile. She suspected there must be someone somewhere that would offer Laura a true challenge, but hey, who was she, the outsider, to come in and question what Laura said? She looked at Mike. "You haven't had a battle yet, have you?"

(OOC: I'd be cool with the space travel thing, though Q might be up to his tricks if Guinan actually tries to go anywhere. Of course, I want to make sure she can stay in the story for a while.)

"The thing with the battles here is that you have to stall it for a certain amount of turns. And this isn't the Leauge, so this isnt THAT big of a deal, all it'll be is somebody with a low-level pokemon." Laura explained.

The person that she had to battle had a Lv. 10 Pansear and Pansage, witch didn't stand a chance against Anna, who was Lv. 100, and Sora, who was Lv. 91. She had to wait a whopping three turns before she could KO those two, but that made it all the more fun!

"Something about you vaguely reminds me of Siebold from the Elite Four..." He trailed off.

"What?" Laura snickered. She had no idea how she could remotely put anybody in the mind of that idiot.

"Phew! That was fun!" Laura chimed, sitting back down to eat.

(Does anybody find it strange that I keep going everywhere they've been in the game to make sure I get everything right?)
