What is a "boutique ale"? And how did you know what I ate on Wednesday?

Garlic Mushrooms (a substitute for the chicken liver pate, and as a result, I went all vegetarian).
Goat's cheese and sun-dried tomato tart, with roast potatoes, peas and carrots (I ditched the Brussel Sprouts and Roast Parsnips, both of which I hate. Carrots I tolerate - plus I was running out of vegetables.).
Sherry Trifle.

I didn't. That's just spooky. 8O

A boutique ale is one of those lovingly-handcrafted cask beers made in a brewpub or microbrewery. Often rather pricey, but thought to be superior in taste to mass-produced beer.

Thanked a green plant for giving us oxygen today.
