Miracles. My adult nephew got his 5yo son a Scout PenPal in Australia, intending as a side-effect to show the kid how big the world is. They live near Toronto, Canada. Long story short - the little Australian PenPal is now the step-son and his Mom is now a married Canadian citizen. It only took them $10,000 CAD in phone bills alone, not to mention 6 years after application. They got married in Niagara Falls. They are living happily, happily, happily ever after!

In case anyone here doesn't know who he is, he's an Australian video game composer. One of my favorites, in fact - his composing work is nothing short of phenomenal.
