Cheaper but more dangerous. Control is an essential element of power and if your minions are an extension of your power then control is often necessary. Quality can count.

You might be surprised at what I bill. :P Although that could be because I'm cold blooded.

Just for clarification I have no problem killing human kids. If it is goat kids I wouldn't do it. Is that a problem?

I need to hire you guys.

You know, calandale, every now and then I find myself wanting to. . . I don't know what.

But I do wish I knew more of these sorts of people in real life.

On the other hand, it might be disconcerting to know exactly how many of us mean it.

Nuclear weapons design is such a tricky field. The problems involved are fun. . . really fun.

But. . . well, there's that whole moral quandary thing. ..

There's a reason they like to keep the scientists out of all that. . .

A lot of people seem to.
But, they don't ever have the
guts to pull the trigger.

What I find stupid is in the movies the bad guy always taunts the person with the gun.

It's like: "you don't have the guts!"

I'd be like: *BANG!! !!* "There, now you don't have the guts."

As for robots, yes, those could flesh out the bulk of the military as general combat troops. The humans would be the officers.

The Imperium will not stoop so low as to use Abominable Intelligence (A.I). For thousands of years ago the Iron Men fought against the humans in the Dark Age of Technology and caused many deaths. We will not use them again.

The Imperium abhors that which is sentient but has no soul (robots).

Doesn't that make them the best to be the ditch diggers and cannon fodder? We hate robots so much that we make them perform boring tasks and risk complete destruction.

Then you would just manufacture more Iron Men to replace the destroyed ones and that would be useing them. That defeats the purpose of not using them and hating them and stuff.

I'm logging off now.

Well, the purpose is to hate them, not to not use them, correct? If a legion of Iron Men existed, would you be willing to dispose of them to your maximum advantage? I do not see that as compromising the matter of hating them. Truly, we hate Iron Men so greatly that we would seek to create them just so we can destroy and degrade them.

Robots will do the will of the generals as long as they are functional.
