people are just pairing opposite meaning words together to come up with fabricated oxymorons.

i am not going to reel off a list of oxy-morons
i will concentrate one one.

"exceptionally average".
if there were only 2 types of people in the world, and one type was 10 feet tall, and the other type was 1 foot tall,, and if there were an equal number of each variety, then the average height of a person would be 4.5 feet, but no person on earth would be even close to that height if there were 2 distinct and opposing phenotypical groups. if someone was born who grew to 4'6" in that scenario, then he would be the most average person in the world, and they would have the distinction of being the only average person, and as such, an astronomical rarity of experience,
