Maybe it would be like a Bakeneko or a Nekomatta [Japanese ghost cats]: pale, maybe even transparent fur and glowing eyes and the ability to pass through walls [which in battling, could mean that it avoids hits easily or something]. As for its name...Feliphantom or Nekogen [gen means phantom in Japanese]?
