Perhaps we appreciate being healthy and active when we have been cooped up, feeling bad for awhile.

I want to move to New Zealand. I can't stand Canadian winters anymore, and I need more nature in my life!

Yes, but I'm smart enough to avoid giant bugs.

But those bugs are really, really big...........

They're also really docile and isolated mostly to offshore islands.

But if you're looking to move to NZ for some warm weather, hmmm .....

Okay, I imagine Canadian winters are even colder. Few people move to NZ for the warm weather, though (Mooms excepted ).

There's parts of the North Island that doesn't have snow, right? Any idea where those parts might be?

Most of the North Island doesn't get snow. It's usually just mountainous areas that get it, plus some inland areas on occasion. You do get frost in winter, though. Warmer places include the northern parts of the island, coastal areas and major cities.

That sounds perfect to me. I'm going to look at some North Island real estate to see what I can find.
