Never seen that kind of magic in Pokemon.

No. They all have special abilities according to the element types.

Pokemon with guns...that's nightmare fuel incarnate! 8O 8O Yikes.
I only drink tea [with milk] and water, nothing else. I never ever want to drink alcohol. There is so much more to life than drinking!! !! Okay, I'm done ranting.
I might be able to get Pokemon Soulsilver today. I'm going to choose Cyndaquil.

It was a reference to the other thread. Some cross posting in this section won't do any damage.

How about a Psychic fish Pokemon?
Starmie wasn't a fish but a starfish, and was water/psychic.

Except Starmie isn't known for using Psychic attacks.
No, it learns Psychic at level 42 as Staryu, which is pure water type, but nothing as psychic as Starmie. It's idiotic that they don't have more psychic type attacks for Starmie, As it is it's just made more vulnerable as psychic type without the advantages of good moves.

What's the difference between Digimon and Pokemon?

As a kid I played Hopmon, a game in which you control a Pokemon-like character, collect crystals and kill monsters.

Never heard of Hopmon. Is it fun?
I played one Digimon game, but I don't remember much about it, as I much prefer Pokemon. Digimon had a bit of Tamagotchi to it, you have to feed them. And Digimon evolve only in tough battles to be stronger and afterwards they return to their former self, while Pokemon usually evolve once they reach a particular level (although some evolve when you either use particular stones or trade them and in one incident with Inkay, hold the 3DS upside down in a battle where Inkay has reached enough exp points to evolve with the points it gets from that battle; not kidding, the 3DS has a gyro inside so it detects the movement) and once Pokemon evolve they remain as what they evolve into and can never de-evolve.

In the Johnny Test cartoon there are Tinymons, fictional equivalents of Pokemons.
