In 1985, a Frenchman named Jean-Marie Loret died.

He was very probably Adolph Hitler's son.

Wichita, Kansas is NOT actually in Wichita County in that state; it is in Sedgwick County.

It is said that King Solomon was the first to mine and put to use copper, and that his treasure hordes was mostly made of that.
Although truth and fiction are sometimes strange bed fellows, for copper it seems was first discovered and used by the Syrians, or so our archaeological evidences points too. although King Solomon was supposedly near that area at that time.

Taking a derivative is a linear transformation, and so is taking an interval.

The more I learn about different branches of mathematics, the more I see ways in which each branch tries do define the operations of the other branches in the terms of that branch. The more different types I learn, the more options I have for solving various problems. Math teachers will still want you to do it the way they taught you, but know that in the real world, you probably have several options.

I was shocked too when I first read about stuff like that. but you have to keep in mind, they didn't have much for birth control back then. and death was an everyday fact of life to them, esp for the slaves, whom forced into prostitution would have much preferred the death of those children then for them to grow up as slaves like them selves. it was a vary cruel world back then.

Ronald Reagan slept with Elizabeth Taylor when she was just fifteen years old.

He was thirty-three.

A study was done not long ago to see how educated people are in the world, and contrary to popular opinion, The world is NOT flat. (that was stunning news to me that any modern persons could even still think that!) 8O

The Platypus is not actually poisonous, but is venomous.

The male has a venom-containing claw or spur on each hind leg.

Shark teeth are actually scales; because of this, they can grow back for as long as they live.

Bette Davis and Joan Crawford loathed each other.

Intensely.
