It's huge, good looking and can carry more people than any other plane. It has a relatively good safety record, having experienced just one crash. Its rival, the Boeing 747, is notorious for having a long history of disasters.

The plane I remember as being the most dangerous was the DC10 in the 1970s and early 1980s. Cargo doors blew out in flight and engines fell off or exploded with some regularity.

The Dreamliners have had their fair share of problems, but they're getting better. The newer 787-9 model hasn't had anywhere near as many problems.

I guess there will be no more planes in the sky or cars on the road when the oil runs out. That's when we'll return to horses.

Hooray for horses! Although, they scare me when I'm close to them...If I had a horse, I would name her Epona [Link's horse from the Zelda games] or Agro [Wander's horse from Shadow of The Colossus].

I once say a gif in which a guy was bitten by a horse. Ouch!

Yeah, we're pretty lucky to live now with conveniences that can only last for a short while. Soon we'll be using boats and ships again to reach far away places, and maybe we'll see airships again.

Our dream of exploring the galaxy will always be just that, a dream.

We haven't even explored our Solar System. It's strange to think about that in the 1960's Soviet and USA sent people to space and landed on the moon, and now we only send probes and rovers.

We'll never see humans on Mars. It would be pointless anyway.

Pointless? We could make scientific break throughs and maybe start terraforming it at some point, so people could live there. With the population explosion a new planet could be needed. terraforing Venus would be even harder (maybe impossible) , but better as it's roughly the same size.

Venus was like the Earth, but the greenhouse effect made it the hottest planet in the system. I guess a similar fate awaits us.

I fear so. We might even run too low on oxygen.

neither will I, but I pity the ones who do if this becomes reality, especially the animals who has no guilt in this catastrophe. Even before reading that I had a nightmare of the air being too low in oxygen, and we couldn't breathe properly, Some places you could see patches of black sky in daylight. You could never know when you'd walk into an area of too little oxygen.
