There are three types of people in this world: those who are good at math and those who aren't.
5/4 of people are made up.
85% of statistics are made up on the spot.
97% of people think they're right all the time. The other 4% don't matter.

All jokes aside...

Even though the Sega Genesis had a lower color depth and worse audio chip than the SNES, it's processor was nearly 4X as fast.

"Gadsby", a 50,000-word novel by Ernest Wright, contains no words with the letter "e". (How can that bE?)

Franchot Tone, a popular actor from the 1940's to the 1960's was loved by Bette Davis, who wanted/expected to marry him, was married to Joan Crawford, and briefly married to Barbara Payton, an attractive, troubled actress of the 1950's whose lover, actor Tom Neal, once beat Tone so severely that he sustained multiple fractures and wound up in a coma.

50k? That's a lipogrammatic novella!

Georges Perec's A Void is a (100k+) French lipogrammatic novel written entirely without using the letter "e."

(A lipogram is a constrained writing or word game consisting of writing paragraphs or longer works in which a particular letter or group of letters is avoided.)

Is it called a lipogram because it's had certain letters sucked out of it?

The "phantom" punch that Muhammad Ali threw to knock out Sonny Liston in their 1965 boxing match in Lewiston, Maine was clocked at 4/ 100ths of a second (traveling the distance from the stationary position to the full extension of the arm).

An actor from the international kid's series "The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" is currently on death row in the US.

I just find that weird. I'm not even sure I remember what lead me to find that out.

The crime was he convinced a wealthy couple who was selling their yacht to take him for a test-sail. He then forced them to sign the papers for the yacht over to him while at sea, then tied them both to the anchor and dropped them overboard. 8O
