His books are very hard to put into just one category really. They all have thriller elements, but there's also often a touch of psychological thriller, and not seldom a bit of either fantasy, sci-fi, adventure or horror. I'm really into them, whatever they are. I just wish he had written more about Christopher Snow. It was an exciting universe and he said it was gonna be a new series but only wrote 2 books...

OMGoodness----I had NO idea he wrote all that kind of stuff, TOO----GEEZ, how'd I miss THAT!! I like his old stuff----when he was writing under "Dean R. Koontz"----like, "Shattered", "Whispers", "Watchers"----and, of course, I like the "Odd Thomas" stuff.

All Creatures Great and Small (by James Herriot - one of my all-time favs!)

He's written a lot of books, and he has older stuff than Shattered, although they don't all seem to be very high quality. I haven't read them myself, just the summary of them. Have you read any of those?
I've read Chase, Shattered, Demon seed, and all his books from 1976 to 2010 (minus the children's books like Oddkin and Santa's twin). I still have some of his newer ones left to read.
You can see all the books he's written here: http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/k/dean-r-koontz/

Oh, WOW----thanks, for that link!! I bookmarked it----I wanna go through it, with a fine-toothed comb, and see what all ("trouble") I can get into!! LOL

Yes, I've read all 3 of those----I LOVED them----they're what started my love for his books. I THINK I've read "Demon Seed", as well.

WOW, "ALL of his books from '76 to '10"----that's IMPRESSIVE!!

You're very welcome, Cat! :)
Heh, yeah, there are quite a few books (although I was mistaken, as I have not read Time Thieves from 1977). But remember, I've been reading him for 26 years, and his books have been on my wish lists for birthdays and Christmases. I've always been a bookworm :D

King is also one of your faves?!? Wow! I've seen a lot of the movies based on his books, but I haven't read all that much of him ("The Shining", "The Green Mile", "Carrie", "Firestarter", "Cujo", "Cycle of the Werewolf", "Pet Sematary" and "Dream Catcher". I also tried to read the first Dark Tower book and Needful things, but I couldn't get into either of them.) I actually do have "Cell", but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. So, it's good then. I have to get to it soon. I very much enjoy a good horror.
