I have irritable bowel syndrome, that makes me fart, sometimes with an alarming frequency (they are loud though and rarely smell). As you can imagine, there are certain food stuffs I cannot eat too regularly otherwise breathing would be difficult and a luxury. Too many beans, cabbage and white bread do make them quite potent, so I do limit how much of these I eat.

Red onions and garlic. Nothing like a potent chili to get me farting. I add a side serving of sprouts just to be sure...lol. It's great for making people disperse in the supermarket. Let one rip round the reduced vegetable or reduced meat sections.... people think the food has gone off and can't get away quick enough (leaving you the space to browse all the bargains).

Oatmeal gives me gas, too. Otherwise, I like it.

All food and liquid make me fart. I believe in it as a natural bodily function that should be accepted by society and not shunned. I always let 'em rip!
