Fantasy Lands-Gandesha-Let's Roleplay!
"I'm not much of a monkey person, but I'll try to keep my cats from eating you. I can't make any promises though."
"Kitty!" Dibble grinned, smiling at Cow Kitty. She loved animals like herself. "I promise I will be good."
She turned to Quartermass expectantly.

"Y-yes..." she said, not every sure if that was an answer "I am a hybrid child from Cryssna, and I assure you have no need to get tough or rough with me... I might not be so delicate but I still dislike rough play."
She had yet to explain her presence, then again even she seemed to lack an understanding of it. If she was to retell she could only do so vaguely and that would most likely dissatisfy this stranger.
"In that case... you are host to a powerful magic entity. It has taken refuge inside your mind. You must come with me, do not try to resist." Sindri waved his hand and stopped the entrapment spell.
"What is your name? I am Sindri, a Black Mage."

"Okay, what abilities can I expect to add to our group if I accept your presence here. Don't be offended, this IS a purely practical question. I saw you teleport before, and you're handy with stink bombs. Anything else? Weapons skills? Magic? Can you do, for example, this?"
Holding out his hand, he showed energy particles coalescing around it, focusing and finally causing a big explosion....contained within a tennis-ball sized bubble on his hand. He suddenly yelped as stray parts of the blast actually burnt his hand, but nothing serious.
"Well?"

"Eh...?" she raised a brow and her voice cracked a bit but she forced a smile. It was true she could recall the artifact disappearing after she embraced its voice but now it seemed she was the traveling vessel. A host, unwillingly she could not separate and decided to accept.
"My name is Marie Elana." she stated with a smile, holding out her hand and ready to shake "Thanks, Sindri. I am eager to get this thing out of my head."

"Very well."
Sindri reluctantly declined the handshake, and said "I have not come to rescue you, but come to obtain something of great value."
"What is inside your head is very dangerous, you must NOT attempt to use its powers, or else it could mean great death and suffering, for yourself included." Sindri spoke in an unearthly voice.
He exaggerated the threat greatly, to scare Marie from trying to use it on him, or even worse, letting it free....

Marie's ears perked high up now and she covered her mouth to gasp at such words. Such a gullible child; she'd believe anything of this person even though he was but a stranger. However, the look of shock faded back to the cheery optimism and she smiled.
"Rescue or not it's help, right?" she asked, looking at him and drawing her hand back to rest at her side. She marched ahead to the doorway, taking in a fresh breath through her nose and beaming a smile "Of course, I would like to get some fresh air first. That crystal was quite stuffy~"

So, getting drunk wasn't working. Hellfire, Rain thought. What's the point of acohol if you remember everything?
She placed a few gold coins down on the bar and stalked back outside. The night sky was beginning to lift; soon it would be dawn. Then she would...what? Wander around? Cure children? Her vampire side would have a fit. Slaughter villagers? Her angel side wouldn't hear of it. The drawbacks of being a halfblood: you got really cool talents, but you couldn't be happy using them.
That wasn't really the problem, of course. No, Rain had been alive too long to be troubled with problems like a near split personality. The problem was...complex. Over her head. And as much as she hated to admit it, Rain needed help.
She had noticed it in the bar. When she lifted her arm to take a drink, there had been something wet. However, Rain was a perfectionist, and she had cleaned off everything around her first. She hadn't spilled her drink. Looking down, she wished she had.
Her arm was covered in blood. Her wrist was bleeding, a horizontal line that looked a lot of like a misguided suicide attempt. She hadn't noticed it in time, and the blood had soaked into the lacings on her corset piercings. A look at her other arm told her what she already knew; it too was a dark red. She swore frevently. It wouldn't truly harm her, but it did make her a bit dizzy. On a very rare occasion, she would faint. Besides, she had trouble stopping the bleeding.
The scar on her neck wasn't bleeding. That was a relief. How many nights had she spent, sitting on a counter, pressing white cloths to herself? She didn't keep count, but she had a bad feeling that it was far too high. It was getting harder and harder to hide.
She had wrapped several napkins around her arms, torn the laces from her piercings, and left. Now, she leaned against a wall, thinking. Where can I go? It has to be someone talented... Maybe I should dispose of them afterwards...
No, that would be wrong...
She had heard of a healer lately. A woman by the name of Myrrhdyn. A descendant of Merlin. Rain remembered Merlin. He was powerful, secretive. She had liked him. How many generations had passed? 1, 2, 15? It didn't matter. Magic could be passed through the bloodline, and Myrrhdyn was supposedly particularly powerful. Rain didn't really have a choice.
Decision made, she rose again, heading for the healer's home. (She passed by a large cloud spitting ogres...what?... but continued on. Mortals were so fickle.) She did not need "social graces", and she did not need to wander around looking for some random human. Rain had met Merlin before; blood passed down was always the same. She would reconize her aura from the sky.
Finally, she spotted the woman she was looking for. Myrrhdyn looked forlorn and maybe a little lost. Silently, Rain landed behind her. She took several hesitant steps - the last chance to draw out, to preserve her pride, to protect her silence - and then lightly touched the healer's shoulder.
"Myrrhdyn?"

"Well?"
"I can sniff things, and hear things. I can travel between dimensions, and I can make blinding light with my big magic. I can climb and run and walk on all fours. My hus-,"
The monkey stopped.
"Nevermind." she looked into the eyes of Cow Kitty.
"I know you don't trust me Kitty, but I give you my word I am safe. I just annoy people and cause trouble. Here," Dibble placed a two collars on the floor. "I made these, they will keep you safe from most magic. I give them to you and a friend of your choice as a peace offering."
Dibble looked up at Merithae. She smiled. "I have a gift for you too. Dragon leather jacket. I'm not sure what it does yet."
"Rescue or not it's help, right?" she asked, looking at him and drawing her hand back to rest at her side. She marched ahead to the doorway, taking in a fresh breath through her nose and beaming a smile "Of course, I would like to get some fresh air first. That crystal was quite stuffy~"

((out of context- read the previous posts to get an idea or gist of the setting and events. So far it's just me and Anubis and your intro to be frank is half-assed. Try going for a description, describe your surroundings and write in third person paragraph form. Roleplaying has no need for asteriks and when one talks you should put quotations around their phrase. I hope this advice helps in the future.))

"Tread lightly and follow me." Sindri led the way out of the cellar, and into the hallway. After carefully going through a few doors and rooms, he reached the door through which he entered. But there was a sound of horses trotting outside, and a loud neigh.
He looked through the keyhole, and he could see at least twenty horses mounted by Paladins. "Oh no, they followed me."
"Who followed you?" Marie asked.
"Some people who came for the same thing as me. We'll have to find another way out."

Merithae, detecting all the passing events called Cow Panther who shimmered to him. With a motion of her head Cow Panther destroyed the dampening field. Cow Panther and Merithae shimmered to Marie, leaving Quatermass to figure out what inside the house was producing the ogres, hopefully before another one attacks the now vulnerable Myrrhdyn. Merithae then said to Sindri, "There is no other way out, you'll have to fight them."
Cow Kitty shimmered home and ate some salmon and went to sleep.
