Is there any way that a vampire can go out in the daylight? I feel very unactive right now...
Some myths allow for powerful vampires to be able to walk in daylight. Others contend that vampires don't
have to hide from the day at all; they simply don't like the sun. You can pick whichever legend you want. There's certainly enough of them.
As for the activity...my character is trying to communicate telephathically with you. I don't know if you missed it or just didn't want to respond, but here's the orginal post.

Her mind touched upon something dark. It was quick and fleeting, but troubling. Instantly, Nyx stopped and concentrated, looking for that thought. It was harm. Whoever owned it was going to do something wrong. She didn't know what, but she could sense it, and that was enough.
She found it again, and wrapped around the black feeling, letting it guide her. It became stronger, a cloud almost, as she reached an old oak tree. Nyx looked at it curiously. There had been incidents in the past where she had run across bitter nature, but they were few and far between. Besides, the force coming from here seemed much too strong to be a tree. A touch of pale green peeked beneath the cloud; that was the tree's mind. There was another spirit too, an odd dark purple slash. That was wrong too.
Nyx walked around the tree, and that was when she found it. An opening, like a den for raccoons. Inside, the thoughts were strongest. They were always strongest at the core.
A young girl was curled inside the tree, sleeping. Above her, a bat hung, also unconcious. Nyx stared. The girl was the source of the dark thoughts; she could feel it. What was she? Nyx had never come across a child like this. Imershia was growling, her hackles raised.
She had spent too many hours unearthing dead bodies to want to kill this girl, but she was interested. The rage was not directed at her. Somehow, as impossible as it seemed, she was sleeping in a tree, and Nyx was certain that she could not wake her. There was only one option. The girl would sense it immediatly. Tenatively, Nyx reached out with her mind and grasped onto the girl's thoughts, wondering and willing her to answer.
There's more of it on page 8, if you're interested.
