Mikhail thought of these things. Politics, he thought disgustedly. He deactivated the Cone of Silence, but then patched a Scan spell through to the hospital systems. He knew, now what one reason why humans would be attempting to assasinate the top Ants and Apes in this alliance.

Even if they had been hired by Apes or Ants who didn't want these to go ahead, humans involved would want to make certain that there were no alliances that could threaten their powerbase. Even Mikhail understood politics to that sort of degree.

Now, all he had to do was wait...

After the dinner, R'ae went to her ship, covered the ground and herself with a blanket and slept. Her dreams were haunted by apes and ants and humans who chase people around either of the two on Shiva or Ifrit. She woke up full of strange thoughts and decided to first eat something and then fix her radio. It was not a big problem, but took quite an amount of her time. The work at least made her calm down and allowed her to coherentize her thoughts. Eventually, she finished and went to a public terminal to do a few searches. She found some pieces of information, which could mean something disturbing the way she saw it: A group of ants apparently attempted to find n'tŭa'kta'ik'sau, an item, these, who believed in the old myths of the origin of the s'kele considered as storage medium of the generation ship, the s'kele arrived in. The most important financier of the expedition however suddenly disappeared. She researched more but there seemed to be only very few sources. so few, that it might be false rather than true.

She sent the links and a translation of the s'kelen sources to Heather and wrote below them in the message: 'Who would profit most from the artificial connection between form and function of a being?' Added the appropriate greeting and sent it.

backrond - barrsbear waas one of the best genitic sceintes in the galixy until an accident on bord a science vesial caused him to go insane and start eating the rest of the crew.he was shot into space by the remaining crew and crash landed this asteriod where he beagan to mutate into the creature he now is. since he has spent most of his time alone on this asteroid he has since gained control of his inner beast and has help the nobals deal with the pireats whom were attacking there worker on the coal planet. prefairs to stay in his huaman from as the inscet from often leaves him craving flesh.

Heather sifted through the info her friend had given her, and forwarded it on to Mikhail. She looked over to where Seven was searching through his papers. He seemed very upset by the whole situation.

Seven, meanwhile was trying to prioritise. He'd already made contact with the Ant Lord and had arranged a meeting. Now for the public. If he knew the Ant Lord, the moment the Adjudicator under his jurisdiction had gotten word of the death, it would have been public knowledge within the hour. So much for trying to sort it out quietly.

He sighed. He wanted to sleep, his wound was stinging, but he had to go on.

Heather looked towards the empty fireplace, and conjured a fire. She hated the cooler planets sometimes. Her garbage run had been a dud-no one knew anything. And all of them were blaming her for it.

at theis point heater noticed a fly which seam to lust be looking at her. she tough she was dreaming when she heard it say what seamed to be be a gargled halo she got up to swat it when it changed it into human form hallow it said agian this time hether replayed saying hallow. she asked how long he hab been there and who he was he said since they hand found the last corps and told her his name was barrsbear. she asked him why e had said any thing until now he explaind it was because he had been hybernating and the heat of the fire had woken him.

he then asked what had happen to the body as he wished to finish injesting it.

((This turn of events completely threw me off...))

R'ae eventually was back on Shiva. Her own test were more than successful: Her ship was far ore efficient with the changes she made. While she would not let a non-s'kele even near the controls of her ship, the technology would also work in ships, which were controlled by computers. It would not be possible to simply go into a patent office and get the technology protected. Her parents worked for the Industrija (a clan of pirates) and she severely doubted the human ha'kleen would like the idea of some of their earning going to 'spiders'. She heard the rumours about the Riemann-Amasuhela generator being originally invented by a nameless member of the cat-like species Asxantu.

On the other hand, the Industrija or any other clan of pirates would want more secrecy. If she worked for one of these, she would be confined not only in a place but in a frame of reference. Normally pirates are not too fond of free flow of information or transport.

Forcing herself off the track of idle pondering, R'ae decided to search the local parts of the network for information about the expedition

Without thinking, Heather gave R'ae a call. The line was busy, so she left a message.

"I'm okay-ish. I'm confused. Oh, and the Taker needs a service, you wouldn't mind taking a look would you? And do stay away from those Pirates, I know you've had dealings with them and I wish you wouldn't. See ya!"

(OOC: Hey, I am so sorry that I have been unable to post. I have not been feeling well at all and have been tied up in other things. May I be forgiven, and may I start out with a post now?)
