INTP here too. In college, I used to be an INFP. I'm very close to being a J too, so almost an INTJ.
I think my job gave me more of the T and J traits!

I thought I was becoming an extrovert, but the test says I'm a strong I. 8O

I'm also a strong I, but a very weak P. If I remember correctly, INTJ and INTP aren't that common in the general population.

Well met, brother. :D INFP is very rare too, and what's funny is there are an awful lot of us here! Those 3 groups I mean. Interesting to have someone on the forums with almost exactly the same result as me. 8)

Fnord, thank you for posting that, it affirms that I have a good personality for something I may be interested in pursuing in the future if that's correct.

Surely there must be one for engineers; don't give up!

INTJ

Introvert(100%) iNtuitive(38%) Thinking(38%) Judging(33%)
•You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (100%)
•You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)
•You have moderate preference of Thinking over Feeling (38%)
•You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (33%)

Fnord, I knew you were an at least an STJ type. This confirms it for me. It is no wonder I can't get you to think in possibilities and the analysis of possiblities. For you, it is no wonder you can't get Marshall and I to think in the facts of here and now. It is no wonder you do not understand our what-if analyses. This is very fascinating to me. I bet Ruevyn is an STJ type as well.

This in order to convince you of anything one has to present concrete facts and physical evidence that exist in our concrete world. I can't use any philosophy, anything that is conceptual, or hypothetical.

It's interesting that INTJ is quite rare in the general population but very common here on WrongPlanet.

Your Type
INTJ
Introvert(89%) iNtuitive(25%) Thinking(89%) Judging(22%)
You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (78%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)
You have distinctive preference of Thinking over Feeling (75%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (33%)

I have taken several of these tests over the years, invariably resulting in INTJ (although the percentages tend to vary a bit).

INTJ.

I took the test years ago, and remember reading at the time that female INTJs make up 0.5 percent of those tested. We're rare creatures. We should be treasured.

INTP here. I've taken the tests heaps of times and always gotten INTP. Although I did think I was an INTJ until I learnt about the differences between Jungian and Myers-Briggs personality types.

I got INFJ. Introvert. Intuitive. Feeling. Judging.
INFJs are known for being intellectual, caring, and CREATIVE.

This explains my results on the EIQ test. It said despite limitations in reading facial expressions, limitations in understanding what a person is feeling given the context, and limitations with processing emotions, that I am very insightful into the emotional world and feelings of others. INFJ are intuitive and act on feelings. My intuition is the light that guides my social interactions.

Interesting how few extroverts there are here.

Interesting how more than half of us fall into the "INT" region.

Of course, this survey is "For Entertainment Purposes Only" ...

INTJ, though I have heard a fair amount of criticisms of the Meyers-Briggs test. I took it back in high school, and was an INTP.
