I can communicate in Italian (not too badly in writing, much slower in real life), I have only just started Finnish, I am only on Chapter 2, so if you want to be picked up at the airport with related vocabulary then I'm your girl! Anything else is beyond me at the moment. Things would be going much faster if I had more time, and more dedication

Nope, I started Finnish before I came here, meeting Krabo was just a bonus

I'm beginning to notice a trend here. Last week, when we had that conversation the Leafs played terrible and lost. Tonight, we talk again, and the Leafs play even worse and lose by 3 goals to a team way out of the playoffs. Hmm.

So you think the fact that you speak on line to a Moomin on the evening of the game reduces your teams' ability to win? I think there may be more to it than that....

No, that's got to be it. Just like how if I get a drink at the wrong time, or sit in the wrong chair, or wear the wrong clothes, or get distracted from the game at the wrong instant, or say the wrong thing, or think the wrong thing, or think about how important it is to not say or think the wrong thing, or say the wrong thing against the other team in a blatant reverse jinx attempt, or any combination of the above can cause them to win. Definitely not a simple case of them being human, and having bad games every so often.
