I don't know. Maybe crabs dress up that way? Or maybe they're used as armor? Or maybe he just likes them so he brought them along? If that's the case, I'd like to know how he made them stick like that. If it's glue, I wouldn't recommend eating them...

I am envisioning the famous picture of Napolean, on a white stallion, looking brave and noble

and determined, but instead of Napolean, there is a blue crab, waving a sword.

The army of crabs riding horses... That would be a sight!
