Don't misplace your time machine, then!

The easiest would be to have a device on your watch which will allow you to return to your own time in a hurry should the need arise.

That's sounds good. There's a number of places in certain points in time that I'd like visit.

If you feel confident, travel to the the moment when an asteroid hit the Earth 65 million years ago. It's gonna be lots of fun!

I want to know if King Richard III of England really did murder his young nephews, Boy King Edward V and Richard, Duke of York. The strongest evidence suggests it, but nobody knows for certain what happened to those boys after they were shut in the Tower in 1483. . .

Have you ever visited the Tower of London?

No. However, if I ever visit London, you can bet I will pay the Tower a visit. The Big Ben Clock Tower, too.

I'm guessing you don't get a lot of snow? I have to shovel a long driveway.

I've always thought of books as portals that take you into another world.
Good books, games, movies and series do that for me and I love it when fictional worlds captivate me to that extent.

Yes, they are okay for a visit, but I don't think I would want to live in those old times.
Yeah, I def wouldn't wanna live then either, just visit (if even that). For the most part I'm okay with history being just that. I would have liked to see the other places I lived when I lived there and see my loved ones at a younger age, and for some of them seeing them again after they've been gone for so long, and lost pets I miss daily. I'm much more interested in seeing my past and loved ones, than seeing big world events. I would like to see my area through the last century though.

I want to explore American and British history. So many years, so many events, but all the time in the world!

If I were to go back to a non-personal time, I'd like to see the aribadas that used to be when tens of thousands of Olive ridleys would come ashore to lay eggs, and the oceans were full of sea turtles.
I'd like to see proto turtles and dinosaurs. I'd want to see a Stegosaurus and long-necks.

Observing a Triceratops would be great.

Also, seeing the beaches along the shore of the Tethys Sea , and the mountains and jungles as they were at the time of Pangaea 200 million years ago.

Yeah, I'd definitely wish to see the Tethys sea and Pangaea!
