Speaking of winning, here's a true story: One day I was walking along a local street when a woman brushed past me screaming, "I WIN!! ! I WIN!! !," repeatedly. Her face was red and wet and scrunched up in agony as she ran out into the middle of the street, where a crowd had gathered. She was crying profusely, and I remember thinking that it was strange that someone who had won something should be so sad about it. However, I soon discovered that she had a speech impediment which caused her V's to sound like W's, and that she was actually screaming "IVAN!! ! IVAN," which was the name of her husband, who had just been hit by a bus. Isn't that terrible? It would be even more terrible if it were true. I mean, that didn't really happen. I just made the whole thing up. Heh...sorry.
