ok, fur like proto feathers.

this reminds me of a time when my GF's teacher (or one of them) presented himself with a pin, with an image of a dinosaur so "anatomically incorrect" it sent her, a lifelong paleontology enthusiast, into a wrath filled frenzy. a scene was made as she drew the creature "correctly" on the board, with proper posture and correct feather placement.

or, that's what i heard anyway. i graduated. go there no longer.
