"Can I have some?" Both Laura and Calem jumped halfway out of ther seats at the mention of the cake.


"Merci~" Laura chirped, as Eyne handed her two slices of cake, and Laura gave one to Calem.

"Wow," Calem said. "Did you make this? And how did you fit all of that in your cloak?" Calem asked, referring to the cake and cutlery.

Anna had seen the kitten, and walked towards the cake box on the floor, and carefully nudged it with her nose. She thought it was strange, she could have sworn she saw something.

Guinan nodded to Enye. She chuckled as Laura and Calem jumped up to grab the cake, and then she heard a soft rapping at the window near her. Looking out the window, she realized that all the pokemon wanted to come back inside. She moved to let them in and take a slice of cake also. She gave some to Pichu, some to Foxy the Fennekin, a bit to Weedle, and nibbled on the bit that remained. "Yes, this is good," she finally agreed as she sat down, her pokemon crowding the aisle next to her.

"Yes, I made it. The Bookstore that we look after is also sort of a cafe, so I serve dessert and tea there to our customers. I made this for...for...well...never mind. As for how it all fits in my cloak, all I can say is: it's bigger on the inside." Enye grinned, and then chuckled to herself, as if sharing a private joke. "Our Bookstore is bigger on the inside as well." She clarified, and then added in response to everyone's questioning looks, From the outside, it looks like a regular old store, but inside it's awesomely big."

"Wow! That's cool." Laura said.

Calem looked at her, curiously. It diddnt sound too crazy to him, as he could fit a bike in his bag. But a lot of the things that him and Laura saw definitely were crazy, so much so that even the craziest things werent crazy anymore.

♡★Laura's hideout★♡

Emma, Shauna, Trevs, Tierno, and Calem knew how to get to Laura's hideout, and did a lot, because Laura said during the time she would only leave the house once in a blue moon, she told them that they could hang out there, because she didn't want her stuffed pokemon to get lonely.

That's just what Emma, known to the ordinary townsfolk as 'the girl in the weird suit and helmet' but in her normal clothes, she could have been mistaken for any typical girl. After being taken in by Looker, her only, very raggedy, outfit was replaced by her Expansion Suit and a slew of adorable outfits that Laura bought for her. After that, Emma joined their little group, despite not being there during the Geosenge Town incident. Now, she was headed for Laura's hideout, MiMi not far behind. She hoped that maybe she would find Laura, just playing a video game like nothing happened. She poked the password into the keypad, and stepped out of the elevator.

She looked around, and Laura wasn't anywhere to be seen. Emma sighed in defeat. On her way back to her place, she was nearly knocked over by a lady with curly pinkinsh-red hair and red glasses, and the same lady nearly stepped on MiMi as she walked by. "Huh. Come on, MiMi. She wasn't really in work mode at the moment, but something about her just screamed suspicious.

As Guinan listened to Enye, she thought about how impossible it all sounded. She didn't doubt Enye though, as she'd seen the effects. Instead, she smiled, nodded, and put Foxy back in his pokeball before he heated up the entire ship. Considering Lily and Laura, she decided to send Weedle back to his pokeball also, for the time being. Michu was being good... for the moment.

Mike wasn't really paying attention to what everyone else was doing because he was too preoccupied with what must be going on in Nexus station. He thought hard about it and then finally says "I am not going to drag another civilization into this war. I-... can't risk making that mistake again. We will still be going to orbit."

By the way, feel free to have your characters try to talk Mike out of this decision.

"If you feel that's best," Guinan said slowly to Mike. "If they could use another hand in hand-to-hand combat though, was that why they called you back?"

Laura turned her had to Mike, finishing the last bit of cake. "We are...?" A hint of excitement sparked in her eyes, yet she was reluctant to show much more anticipation, she diddn't want to force him to stay in this world if the safety of another hung in the balance. On the other hand, if he wanted to stay and show them space, then she wasn't going to tell him not to.

Calem tilted his head to the side. "...You got another dimention caught up in the war once?" He diddn't want to bring back any harsh memories for Mike, as he diddn't enjoy talking about the Geosenge Town incident, but he was also wondering how it would mess with their civilization if he just went back, took out the Heiwa Federation, and came back.

Mike says "I can't really do much on my own, I'm just a mad scientist with a pistol and I'm up against a fleet. The only way I could be helpful is if I had an army and the only way I can get something like that as far as I know is by getting this planet involved in the war."

In response to Calem's question he replies "No, I'm talking about getting caught up in the moment and not considering possible long-term consequences. I have done that way too many times, and it's a lesson that I had to learn the hard way."

Mike sends a message back to Mason explaining the situation and why he can't help.

A sinking feeling comes over Mason as he reads Mine's message. He had to think of some way to take back the station, but he was just one person and he didn't even know how he could get down from that air vent with the gravity on, let alone take over the station. While he's thinking he lets his guard down a bit and lets out a sneeze.

The commander of the Heiwa Federatoin fleet had entered the control room to take control of Nexus station and he had been informed of how Mike and Mason have not been found despite the data on the ship saying that they were on board. upon hearing the sneeze coming from the ceiling he says "Hey, there's someone hiding here!". The armed guards aim their guns at the air duct and and one of them says "You have 10 seconds to come out before we start shooting. 10... 9... 8..."

Mason didn't know what to do. After a few seconds he concluded that he had no choice but to show himself, so he opens up the air vent. The commander says "Oh, if it isn't Mason Williams. Get down from there." The ceiling was rather high so Mason had to fall down a considerable distance. He jumps down but the Coriolis effect caused by the station's rotation caused him to move to one side a bit and he didn't anticipate it so he lands a bit weird and hurts one of his feet a bit, falling over onto the ground. When he got up he had to limp a bit and the guards put him in handcuffs, beginning to escort him to the enemy carrier docked with the station.

Laura wanted to say something to cheer Mike up, but she couldn't think of anything.

"Oh." Calem said in response, looking at the floor.

Anna hopped back up in Laura's lap, deciding there was nothing under the cake box. Laura ran her hand over her soft, white fur, but Anna could tell that something was up with Mike. "Syl..." She trailed off, looking at him.

"Hmm well, you also have pokemon that could serve as a distraction if the one that was hidden intended for you to try to rescue him. Not exactly a war, but defending people hand-to-hand and maybe dismantling the station's technology?" Guinan said hesitantly. "Years from now, will you look back on the whole thing and say it wasn't your fight? Or will you feel guilty and wonder what you should've done?"

"I could do something to help. But...no one here would like it, least of all me." Enye revealed unexpectedly, staring down at her feet as if wishing she had kept quiet. "Actually, no, never mind...It's a silly idea." She paused, then, as if wondering whether to smile or not. "We need a distraction of some sort, right? How about a sea serpent?"

"A sea serpent? Like Gyrados?" She heard some people refer to Gyrados as a sea serphent, and she was having a hard time picturing a Gyrados there, and Gyrados was the closest thing that came to mind at the mention of a sea serpent. Still wondering how she would get a Gyrados-like creature theough a wormhole without a ball, she asked, "Isn't this in space? That would probably scare the Federation to no end." She stifled a giggle.

Lilli went white for a second.
They knew she wasn't talking to them, but her words rang very true.

When Enye mentioned the sea serpent, Lilli's eyes went wide.

"A SEA serpent?" they asked.
They had a giddy impressed smile, like a small child discovering Legos for the first time.

"The same one that scared Q on Deep Space 9?" Guinan asked with a grin. "How did you make him disappear before anyway? He looked so surprised! "

"The very same sea serpent." Enye told Guinan, grinning widely. "I simply told Q to leave. He could tell that, in the mood I was in at the moment, I was not to be bothered." Her eyes went wide for a second, as if remembering something important. "I wonder if that sea serpent...she may have hatched her eggs by now, so I could end up calling a whole...what would you call a group of sea serpents, anyway? Not a herd or pod..."
