Okay, one of my aspie traits is coming into play here.. I cannot multi task in roleplay, meaning that when I have two characters trying to interract with me in great long reams, I get confused and overloaded and have no idea how to respond as I had already planned out my next post regarding healing Quatermass. Argh. What to do...

Hee hee, I'm all happy cos I guy I asked out from dancing said yes to the movies on Saturday.

Good for you!!
I like Dibble. She's interesting.
This is my first RP too, and at first, it's really hard learning the rules, but once you get a hang of it, it really is fun.
I'm glad that Graelwyn made this thread :D

Glad people are enjoying it! :D one of my nowadays few inspired moments lol. Only wish I had the alertness to post more myself, but ah well, I can keep up as long as I have no more than a couple of characters interracting with me at a time.

I prefer one to one rp in yahoo/msn... I used to manage 12 hour stretches doing that if it was Harry Potter, but no-one on here seems to be an expert Hp Rp'er.

It seems to be going very well Graelwyn, though I have only joined Gandesha recently. The different stories weave together very effectively (compliments to all those involved!) It was a great idea of yours. Your character is intriguing, as are many of the others. I have little experience of these sorts of roleplays, though rather more of fantasy. I wonder where the story is going? With imput from such a diverse array of people, who can say?

All I can say about that is that everyone ought to immediately abandon their original master plan, and let the RP go where it may.
I had a master plan, but it already seems to be contradicting itself. :D

Understandably. I do not think we have a choice with so many conflicting master plans! I was pretty much trying to say that it would be interesting to see where the story went. Sorry if that was not clear. I am not sure I had that much of a master plan.

Apologies to Quatermass and Alexander for my lateness of rp reply... I am in London on dial up that is very slow...and I really cannot focus on a response here. I have to say... I would rather that you had come in later Alexander, as I have trouble integrating both of you into a response... I already had my scenario and actions planned out with only Quatermass in mind.

Sorry, I had been getting a little impatient - some of the plot developments I introduced were a little drastic to put it mildly! And congratulations on becoming Forum Moderator, though Eternal Seeker of Truth sounded rather more impressive... You thoroughly deserve the honour!

A note:
I originally posted with the man in the airship cabin bring Irial's father, and that she killed him, but I looked it over and besides it being powerplaying, I also thought that I was changing Irial and the plot too quickly.
I'll leave the whole 'discovering true identity as a prophetess' thing for later on.

I hate to overpost, but I feel pretty bad about something.

By the time I read the word:

I just wanted to let you know that it's not snobbery or elitism or anything like that, just that your character's way of speaking telepathically really confused me. Sorry! Interacting with the others is really hard, and I suppose something just failed to compute.

But I (or rather Alaric) generally try speaking out loud first. In this instance it was only Sindri (Anubis) I attempted to contact through telepathy rather than speech, as far as I can recall (earlier I attempted Quatermass and Myrrhdyn (Graelwyn) as well as an earlier still contact with Sindri and Merithae (Ahayes) admittedly those attempts (Sindri and Merithae)were telepathy first). It is alright, I am not offended. It just seems to be taking a while for anyone to react to my overtures - I am trying to point out that all Gandesha and possibly all of the Fantasy Lands and beyond are in terrible peril (even more than your characters already realise them to be, if possible). Quatermass sort of reacted at a few stages - basically to register a reaction to my telepathic attempts at communication though not to the content, nor to the earlier attempts at oral communication (I explained the latter by my temporarily being out of phase for unexplained reasons). The sun was darkened at one stage; as I have returned to a time prior to this, presumably it will be again, much to the help of Garnet.

I'm glad you're not offended, though admittedly, I'll (well, Irial) will keep an eye out for you.

That is very reassuring to know. In an airship it should be easy for Irial to spot Alaric!

Out of curiousity,I wanted Tom to be really mature, and Dibble to be a sort of child.

Is it working or have I stuffed up?

Yes it is working... leastways the impression you intended to convey is similar to how it came across to me; obviously I cannot speak for others. You have NOT stuffed up.
