I, too, want to know the mysteries of 'feels bartman'.

I'm guessing it's like "feels batman". It's an Internet meme that shows someone feeling sad. Who knows why anything becomes a meme, these days.

Unless he specifically meant "Bartman", but I think Kip's probably a little young to know what that is. Anyone else remember this?:

......

Also, those turtle pictures are TOO cute. They always are, because they're always shot like those aquarium screensavers, or pictures of the Great Barrier Reef. Brilliant stuff. That black one with the red stripe, though ... it reminds me of a redback spider. Google it up if you don't know what it is; they're notorious here in Oz.

I don't know about bartman either.

I haven't even heard of 'feels batman'. I must be getting out of touch.

Thanks for the suggestion Murihiku, but I am not googling spiders. And if they show up here in this thread then I'm leaving.

Glad I'm not the only one who hadn't heard of 'feels bartman', or 'feels batman', for that matter. Thanks for the explanation, Murihiku! I've watched quite a bit of the Simpsons, but I can't say I recall that. Or maybe I've just forgotten the scene.
Cough, the southern painted turtle made you think of what? Yes, I know what a redback is, I've heard the song

So lovely! :D

I hope you don't mind spiders when they're really a tortoise, Moomin!

This is a spider tortoise. It only lives in south western Madagascar, and it's critically endangered

I certainly like spiders a lot more when they are tortoises. :D

Although he doesn't look very spidery to me. I suppose if I really stretched my imagination the markings on his shell could be a bit web like.

That last one looks like a geometry puzzle, to me. :)

^ Definitely more of a geometry puzzle than spiders!

I should hope so! 8)

I guess maybe the markings could look slightly like a climbing spider, but I think I only see it because it's called spider tortoise.

How lovely.

There should be an Independent Republic of Chelonia for them to be safe (including both land and water of course) and only turtle lovers allowed as visitors at the border post!

I wish such a place really existed! Like this, only real and huge and natural Image

and with a diverse Chelonian Council, of course

^those were lovely pictures of the flipper holding turtles.

I'd go to the Independant Republic of Chelonia. I'm pretty sure I would meet Skilpadde there. :)

I think we can all relate to this one:

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I heard from Krabo yesterday. I told him he was missed here, and you had asked after him. There's no guarantee I will hear back from that, but I'll let you know if I do. :)
