Reminds rabbitears of an earlier comment where I said I still have a few spare pea pods.
Hence, "I still have the pods" - which sounds like an uncomfortable medical condition, hence "but they're clearing up nicely".

Puts a dunce's hat on rabbitears, and makes him stand in the corner. Tsk.

Makes rabbitears' house turn upside down and start shouting.

Informs you (in a nasely voice) that you shouldn't write [rabbitears'], with the apostrophe after the 's' when refering to my possesions, and that it should be before the 's'. By putting the apostrophe after the 's', you are implying that there is more than one rabbitears.... meh. Blah blah blah blah....

"rabbitears" = (sort of) a plural noun. Plural possessive nouns ending in "s" have the apostrophe after the word:
Singers' voices.
The cousins' favourite uncle.
For plural nouns not ending in "s", add an apostrophe then an "s":
Men's clothing
Children's books

If I used "rabbitear's house" then your name would have to be "rabbitear" for that to work out.
AFAIK there's no 'house style' excuse for using "rabbitears's" but I'm sure that will be corrected.

Ooooohhh! I guess you could say I've been 'served'. Sniffs what I just did in the hat and then vomits all over you. Then annoys you further with my ignorance by asking what the hell does AFAIK mean?
