as expensive as cars are getting, they're gonna have to start doing something like house loans for them that last 15 years at least.

You know, my Brother in Law actually did that to his Nova in an attempt to blow the old engine up, because he was going to replace it with a custom built one, and wanted to see how long it would take. They said they beat the crap out of it and it just would not die.

I can't recall if they did or not.
If they had, it probably took a while. They're SF natives and it's always cold there... well, it used to be anyway.
