This all makes me laugh... so much.

Kip, I think you're winning now at ugly birds. The first one you just posted is voiding itself, and the second one looks like it's going to lose its lunch, to top it all off.

Just really cannot look at these poor birds who seem to be mutated or unreal maybe.

Amelia Bassano Lanier was the first woman to publish a completely original book of poetry in the English language in 1611. A few other women had published translations and completions of other, male author's works, but Bassano is the first woman to publish a completely original writing in English: a 3,000 line poem titled 'Salve Deus Rex Judaeorum', which considers the crucifixcion of Jesus from the women's point of view.

they look like baby cockateils.
we have a bunch of grown ones, they make babies once in a blue moon but hardly any survive.
we had one that nearly became a full grown adult but he...disappeared. :(

but they're quite tame. we've had them forever.

Someone in Egypt dug up bones from a huge, carnivorous swimming dinosaur.

And it had a huge fin on it's back.

And really big teeth.

Believe it or not, there is a medical term for those times you get 'brain freezes' from eating ice cream or any other frozen treat. It's called 'sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia.'

In the 1800's, women would buy, and knowingly swallow capsules with tapeworm eggs in them for weight control.

it's caused because your brain gets confused!
the trigeminal nerve conducts signals from dilating blood vessels in the palate to the brain, which interprets the pain as coming from the forehead.

Supposedly, neither dogs nor cats can see colors.

No one can actually ask them, though.
