You know, my Brother in Law actually did that to his Nova in an attempt to blow the old engine up, because he was going to replace it with a custom built one, and wanted to see how long it would take. They said they beat the crap out of it and it just would not die.

Yeah. Youd think that he could have just sold the engine if he wanted to replace it with another engine.
