Krabo, I know you had fun, and I'm really glad for the small or really large part in it I had,

I am sad that I wasn't part of the fun times !

I have extra time on my hands at the moment, as a rather trivial non arrival of an order I'd already placed when I saw stuff running low, made the company show me the door after four years... guess it's time to move on to better things.

Yes dear Skilpadde, the owner-manager is actually on leave until next week: he wasn't even there during this incident. I called one of the ladies there today, who's been there for years and asked her if they were coping in packaging and she said no they were not, and she would not be helping them despite her being the one doing that before I was trained to do it. The fact is that without being spiteful or blowing my trumpet, I know that I'm smart and good at what I do. We are all human so an occasional slip up can be expected.

A number of the ladies in Production came up to give me a hug when they heard I was going. I didn't have a chance to say cheerio to some of my friends that do the night shift (they alternate week by week).

I'm looking at all my options now.

Enviro, hopefully the owner manager will be annoyed when they get back and hear what has happenned. I hope things turn out for the best for you.

If there is a paper trail or computer records to prove that you placed the order, can you not file a grievance and try to get your job back?

Hi dear Sylkat, I'm gonna look at all my options next week because I am also thinking I'd like to move on to other things. I think also it's because an outside person is the one who makes the decision based on one's file and various paperwork, they follow the letter of the law and don't really know the circumstances too well.

I liked it there but am glad I'm not breathing in the smoke from the heavy industry just across the street anymore. It should never have been built there because the area is light industry like ours, as well as residential and commercial quite nearby.

Well, San Diego has a seaborne invasion of Tuna Crabs.....they are bright red, have large, dark eyes, and are the

size of a thumb, and are cheerfully taking over our beaches today......why did Krabo instigate such chaos?
