In theory, or in people's minds maybe, but isn't that getting us into identity politics? And isn't identity politics wreaking havoc on the structure and cohesion of Western societies? And is that a good thing?

Why do people think it’s that much of a problem? Why can’t they “live and let live?” Why should cultures remain stagnant rather than grow and evolve?
