How many times per month do you have visitors in your home?

Once a month on average the French neighbour will come around for a chat and coffee. That's enough socialising for me.

How many rooms in your house?

The one I'm moving out of -- 4 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, living room, eat-in kitchen, laundry room, storage room, basement den or whatever you want to call it. Way too much house for one person! I bought it for the yard! The apartment I'm moving into -- one room plus tiny kitchen and bathroom.

In the main house there are 6 downstairs rooms of various sizes, first floor 2 rooms plus a huge space which may become divided up at some time and a massive attic which may also be divided up into several bedrooms - the upstairs is in a state of flux at the moment - I've ripped floors and ceilings out and doing major DIY work up there (when I get time).

How big is your garden area?

8 beds roughly 4' x 20'. Never used it all, I did use half that much though. Too much for someone who spends this much time on WP Of course I'm moving to a farm where we will be measuring in fields, not beds.

Approx 1.25 acres. That equates to around half a hectare. Most of which is lawns.

How many fruit trees do you have?

5: 2 pears, 1 peach, 1 fig, and 1 pawpaw. Also 3 juneberry and 1 clove currant bushes.

I thought you meant just cultivated area -- my house is on just over 1/2 acre, and the "farmette" I'm moving to is only 4 acres.

How many time per week do you go shopping?

I've been going less than once a week, lately. I guess I go through phases. Sometimes I go multiple times a week to different stores, if I just HAVE to have a specific ingredient -- I get meat at Whole Foods, Giant's the only one that has pitted alcaparrado, MOM's has the good bread. But I'm trying to use up what I've got since my new kitchen won't have so much space.
