You're right to question, DeepHour----"Delaware" is NOT a language! ! One MIGHT argue that it's a dialect, just like "Baltimorian", but.....

Gaelic - Celtic language of British Isles: any of the forms of the Celtic language used in Scotland, Ireland, or the Isle of Man.

Delaware is a language - Delaware is an Algonquian language originally spoken in New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania.There are no fully fluent speakers, however the language is currently being revived.
