Laura could feel herself being confronted with the same feeling from earlier that day. If she diddn't make it back, her mother would be devestated, all of Kalos would be left wondering what happened to her, especially the presses. And not to mention Shauna, Trevs, Tierno, and Professor Sycamore. And what about Calem? given he went too and made it out... And what would she do, vice versa, given he went too and something happened to him. And Arceus knows her Pokemon wouldn't get over it at all. She shivered at the thought, hugging her knees to her chest. "Is there something we could do to help without going?" She asked, obviously nervous. "Why am I being sutch a coward all of the sudden. Just because you saved the world from Team Flare doesn't mean you get to stop at just your world." She thought. Team Flare only had Pokemon to battle with, and nothing else. And it probably wouldnt be a good idea to just take Riku, her Lucario, Mega Evolve and tell him to just Aura Sphere everything in the immediate area dead. "Wait..." she thought. "No, that's a terrible idea."

"If we need back-up, I can contact the Headless Horsewomen." Jian suggested, looking almost eager at the prospect. "Regardless, I will come."
So will I. Star-Enye pulsed brightly, though rather from excitement or anxiety it was hard to tell.
"Me too." Aelkai started to say, but Jian tilted her head and stared at her. "I will stay here." She said quickly.

"Bro," Lilli said frantically.

Laura paused and looked at them like the world was ending.

"Uh...." Lilli looked around.

Lilli's eyes were wide, uncertain of how to react. They knew what it was like to be scared and helpless, and it haunted them to see the fear in Laura's eyes.

"You're... you're gonna be okay, bro." they said gently. They sounded uneasy, like they were trying to calm down a spooked horse.

"Um...." Lilli paused, trying to think what to do next. They didn't really know know how to react in these situations, but they were trying the best they could.

"Uh, say, listen."

They looked at Laura, though the same uncertain fear was reflected in their eyes. "Um, if anything goes wrong.... I can get us out." they said.

Although Mike wouldn't admit it or show it, he was quite scared too. He has no family to speak of but he has some good friends who would miss him if he never returned.

"I have Enye's Gardevoir here." Jian revealed, digging around in Enye's cloak as Aelkai handed it to her. "If we need to, we can just use Teleport. Or I can warp reality. Whatever comes first."

Guinan shrugged at Mike. "I get the feeling that if this Heiwa Federation isn't stopped, they will find their way to the worlds you've been to, and to new ones also, is that right? I mean, while it's usually not a good idea to get involved in other people's wars, it is a good idea to rescue the people that would prevent some violent force from expanding beyond their own planet," Guinan said to Mike. She was not entirely sure that her captain would agree, but then, she was not an officer anyway. She did not feel quite the same reverence for Starfleet's non-interference directives as an officer would. She certainly did not want to see another world takeover.

"The thing is, I actually don't know what they would use the station for." Says Mike. "They might be after the resources, the technology, the supply of exotic matter, the data on the station's servers, and/or some other reason. They might leave the inhabitants of other universes alone, I just don't know."

~~~
In one of the server rooms on Nexus Station some Heiwa Federation hackers are trying to prevent the Solar Alliance fleet from taking control of the station remotely. Between the station and the HF fleet outside they have much more computing power at their disposal then the SA fleet so they could crack encryptions and intelligently brute-force hack faster.
They had their own AI loaded onto the computer to help them out, which says in a female voice "It seems that the Solar Alliance fleet seems to have reallocated their resources and now they are attempting to get control of the airlock override system." One of the hackers replaces, "Then reallocate our resources to defending it."
The invisible battle between the AI's for control over the airlock override system lasts for only about a minute, both sides have roughly 20 THz of processing power at their disposal and eventually the Solar Alliance gaons control of the airlock override system for long enough to unlock the one next to Mason.
~~~

The air inside of Mason's helmet couldn't last long, he had never been very good at holding his breath and now he was startong to breathe faster because each breath hardly did anything. He sits down and leans against the guard rail of the catwalk. So this is how I go. He thought about his impending doom with terror until suddenly the airlock door's display showed that the door is no longer locked. He stands up, quickly opens the heavy door, and stumbles in. Once the airlock pressure rises enough he makes his helmet fold back and takes a big breath of the oxygenated air, feeling more relieved then he ever has in his life.

Guinan looked at Mike thoughtfully. "Your honesty is refreshing," she said.

Laura looked at Mike with her nose scrunched up. "Those Heiwa Federation idiots sound worse than awful." A more concerned look crossed her face, as she fiddled with the ends of one of her pigtails. "I... Er," she started, looking out the window, at the world she was from. "Is there a way to help out without going?" She looked genuinely concerned for the station and Mike, but still looked absolutely terrified, and so did Calem. She rerembered Team Flare, she couldn't keep from getting spotted by the people in the hideout for crap, but all she had to do was battle them, and be done. Here, somebody could kill her the second they saw her. The part that scared her the worst was that if something did happen to her, either Something would happen to her, with Calem or somebody else bringing back the sad news, or vanish with her friends, fans, and the whole world wondering what happened to her, which defintely seemed worse than the former.

"What if...What if I transformed their killing things into something more manageable?" Jian asked suddenly; previously she had seemed utterly deep in contemplation.

"Do you mean changing the Heiwa Federation weapons into something else?" Guinan asked with interest.

"I could transform them into...I don't know... bananas? The Doctor gave me that idea, actually. It's a long story." Jian winked cheekily.
"I can help! I can help!" Aelkai exclaimed, jumping up and down.

"Wait, what?!" says Mike, utterly confused. "How would you do that?"

Jian grinned mischievously. "I taught a Defence Against the Dark class and a Transfiguration class at Hogwarts. It gave me ideas about how to increase my magical abilities."

Guinan giggled. "Just imagine them trying to fight with bananas! They'll think they're losing their minds!" she exclaimed. "I don't know how you'd do that, but go for it."

Laura was starting to feel better, mostly because of the thought of those goons trying to fight with friut. "That's genius, Jian!" She snickered.
