I've been writing a lot lately since I'm in a master's program, and I can't believe how much attention the profs pay to formatting and other non-contextual stuff. For instance, one professor insists I use too many commas, and my grade has suffered. Another professor has taken points off papers because I include issue numbers in my citations. She says they're irrelevant.

Sigh. Just needed to rant there for a minute.

Ugh...I scored way above average on my Vocal SAT, and on my vocab entrance exam. It's always been my spelling that has been terrible. Blah!
