I have a sort of board game idea - pokemon soccer
Or poke ball, since I'm English and I call Soccer football over here, hence the ball part after poke.
I want to use some rules maybe similar to Warhammer... Games Workshop created Bloodbowl (a parody of American Football), so Warhammer sport can be done.
Well I'm trying to create teams from the Indigo league (Pallet Town, Cerulean City etc), and use little paper cut outs... not sure how to do this though... I'm a little stuck - it seems a little confusing with what to do with turn based rules and whether or not I should take into account things like first touch, every dribbling action, every injury possibility, where the ball goes if a player fails to connect a pass or whatnot...
Does anyone have any hints as to what I should do? Anyone who knows much about creating strategy games?
Thank you to anyone who can help out. Any suggestions are most welcome and appreciated, and may be used - this is a new project.
