I doubt his friends really missed John, the first letters of each sentence read "f**k you", it is said his wife and his mistress came up with it together, coincidence?

39 Visual-Challenges!

Not easy, I only saw what was there...

Stare at an image, in my defence it stays the same  I know what it was before I stared so I do not let my mind change it

I disagree with some of the answers.

The elephant had distinctly 5 feet, and legs without feet aren't relevant!

My monitor showed different colored squares. I moved them together to be sure.
AND:
If a slanted square is a square, then a colored square in the shade is still colored.
Can't you put or get colored things in a dark place or does it make everything black?

<edit> my score=61

Thanks! That sort of stuff is something I totally like and can do well.

But I totally have no idea about that picture with the faces and the people in it. I counted only 6. Apparently, there are more though because the test results said they should have been 9.

Yes I enjoy these kinda of test too, like the poster above me, i might have done better, but, prolly my aspergers, i took some thing too literal. The elephant question specifically asked how many feet the elephant had, not legs, so i counted feet i could actually see. and the shaded box one also threw me off, and like you, i mis-counted the faces, i saw 7 not sure where the other two were.

I assume that like me, you really enjoy those 3d poster that they have in mall shops yes?

A word to the wise: when I add up the scores myself I get a 71% but when I go by what it says I got it comes up with 57%.

And some of us have vision issues so the fluff thing ain't never gonna disappear nohow, no matter how long we look.

I must say some of the desired answers are just plain wrong. If you look at the individual groupings of pixels, for example, the makers of this test are way off in their questions concerning colors. I'm a lifelong artist on and off the computer, with an eye for color-matching---I spend more time analyzing pixels, and analyzing colors on- and offscreen, than I spend looking at people's faces. Their answers may be correct for the original images that they scanned or generated, but they're quite wrong for the compressed images displayed onscreen.

They also assume that color is only a matter of light bouncing off of an object, instead of that object's inherent potential for reflecting light whether enough light is present or not. Gotta make that distinction---"is" is different from "appears," doggonnit, and the answer may be different depending on whether they're asking about the actual object depicted or about the flat representation of it.

And yeah, that elephant one is just screwed up. The detailing makes the count pretty obvious, and not what the supposed right answer says. I'm trying not to give any leading spoilers, lol.
