Which member of The Kinks are you?

These are my results:

Mick Avory

Congrats! You are Mick. You were the drummer for The Kinks, but also were a drummer for the Rolling Stones for a short time in their early days. You don't get along well with Dave, and thought you killed him one time when you got into a fight on stage. Things have been patched up for the 2 of you these days, though, and you're friends with both of the Davies brothers. You were a member from 1964-'84.

Why doesn't that surprise me?

Pete Quaife

Congrats! You are Pete. You were the bassist for The Kinks from 1963-'69. You're not an all-out well known member to those who are only somewhat familiar with The Kinks. You were schoolfriends with Dave and were very competitive with Ray as a kid. These days, you love to tell stories about your short-lived time with the band. You thought of The Kinks as a recipe for disaster, which it pretty much was

Hmmm ... must have been because I can only play the drums.

Mind you, I think I only have one Kinks track on CD - "Lazing on a Sunny Afternoon" ... I was more a Who man in the 1960s, but I liked a lot of the UK bands at that time (Manfred Mann, Small Faces, ...)

Ray Davies

Congrats! You are Ray. You are the frontman of The Kinks, and a big show-man. You are regarded as the most talented member, too. You play rhythm guitar, piano, and harmonica, and also sing most of the songs. You also write the majority of the songs (like, "You Really Got me", "Lola", and "Sunny Afternoon"). Pete Townshend once said that you should become a poet laureate. The problem is, you know this all too well. You might have a huge ego and might be a control freak, as well. Since you are also highly regarded, you have very high expectations of yourself and may have once been very depressed. You also like to fight a lot with your younger brother, Dave. Maybe you should try to look past all of the bad in your life and look at the good. You have a great sense of humor, so maybe that should become a main focus. Don't beat yourself up!

Everyone Else...

Congrats! You are one of the many other members of The Kinks that were around during the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. People may not recognize you on the street, but at least you've got the best of both worlds: a rock star life and privacy. You get to tell some amazing stories and you probably stayed away from getting into fights.
