8. try different hairstyles
9. stretches
10. stepping exercises
11. jumping exercises on the desk, stool and sleeping slab
12. yoga
13. meditation
14. write your autobiography in your head. Try to remember EVERY SINGLE DETAIL of EVERY SINGLE EVENT.
15. rap while banging and tapping rhythmically on the desk or sleeping slab
16. practise for your next TV interview
17. practise runway walking
18. if you have or can make a shank, burrow thru the wall in a hidden place
19. gymnastics
20. pray
21. try to send telepathic messages to people outside
22. tap out messages to other inmates if you can get away with it
23. practise acting
24. make your life's to-do list
25. stim in whatever wierd way you stim in
26. drink water to alleviate hunger, if you need to lose weight
27. organize your thoughts and feelings so that you will better be able to explain to your shrink, your lawyer and the reporters what you're going thru!
28. catch up on sleep
29. if you can, yell to other inmates
30. write letters
31. draw pictures of yourself in your cell to give to the press

Charles Manson loved to compose odd songs and beats. I think now his only instruments are his mouth, hands, feet ... once in a while maybe an upside-down metal wastebin as a drum.

If I was in the shoe, I'd practice running up the wall and on the side of the wall like the f*****g Prince of Persia does. It would be awesome to do that.

As for things to do in solitary confinement - sorry to state to obvious one here but STIMMING!! !

You could practice telekinesis. That's time and energy consuming enough to keep one entertained for a while.

I would probably have the best time of my life!
no one around to annoy you or disturb you, all of your friends would accept that you don't want to be spoken to!! it'd be great (excluding food, resources, other things etc...)

in there i would think-- something inescapable by most of us here. but i enjoy it, thats the main point

Not to seem dire, but I am in essence in permanent solitary confinement since forever. It's called autism.
In Greek 'aut' means mind and this is where I reside.

I do have a beautiful mind but I am inexplicably behind an impenetrable one-way mirror. Hence, solitary confinement. Exile.
I am synonymous with science/math, art, sequences, patterns..........

Infinity vector. Socially ex-communicated but I have never done anything wrong or bad. They stare at me often through the glass. I don't/can't make eye contact though.

Some things you probably wouldn't get away with:
Get really,really...really greasy...make your own candles & sell them on e-bay!
Practise nudism
Grow a dreadlock beard
Train a flea-circus
Try to chat up the guards
Convert to Satanism
Speak in tongues
Grow Marijuana hydroponically
Start a toe-nail collection

Just thought of another. In relation to masturbation: See you if can blast away and coat your entire cell in jizz over the course of your sentence.
