"I recently escaped from a science lab where a few scientists spliced my genes and the genes of a cat together. I get made fun of for my appearance, but I still have a girlfriend. We've been together for a week."

I used to be a detailed drawing, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

I am a Gorgeous Gryphon and I know it. I am rather smug about my appearance and my ability to fly, but it is just my nature, as a Mythical Beast, to be arrogant.

Jack, the Custodian of the Old World, wrote:
Slowly, the people walked out of the cave. They had only heard of sunlight from tales told by their ancestors. They said it made the land fertile and warm - not at all like the cold, damp cave, where their skins turned pale as the centuries went by. The land, their ancestors said, had fruits and vegetables - much better than the moss and lizards they had been limited to for at least three centuries.

As they gazed upon the land, however, the legends seemed overblown. There were few plants, and a lot of sand.
"Where is America?" asked a girl, nearly blinded by the light. America, the old world, was at war when their ancestors entered the cave.

A small band of gatherers roamed the land a few days later, when they came across the remains of a town. The church tower had collapsed, and sand had covered most of the houses. It would have looked hostile and uninviting to the residents of the Old World, but it fascinated these cave-dwellers, whose sole idea of light had been torches and pyres for centuries. Jack, a young man, called his friends. In his hands, he held a dried-out piece of paper containing a small drawing. From that moment on, Jack worked to find out more about the person who drew on a piece of dried-out paper so many centuries ago in the legendary land of America.

And God saw that the young and handsome man would one day (after royally screwing everything up) be a wise and fair ruler and found favor with him among all the other dudes. So He send a much wiser and intellegent old man, (who was probly only like thirty cuz ppl didn't live very long when monarchy was the world's most common form of government) So God send the old man to annoint the young rulers head with oil, and wave his staff. And the old man mentored and guided the young ruler as God willed to be HisDivineMajesty.

Btw, I imagined this story narrated by Michael Palin, it is way funnier that way.

And the glowing, opalescent egg cracked open, and out hopped the Golden Dragon Chick!

I got stranded on the moon. Fortunately, I live with the moon people, who are great people to hang out with.
