... Or any combination of sentences, words, signs, movie titles, awkward names, you name it!
This came to mind a week ago when my English class was assigned a new book to read.
The title: Ragged Dick. Needless to say, my 11th grade class could NOT ignore that. Pretty much the entire class was laughing, minus a few exchange students, who joined in once others told them the meaning.

A few more examples would be:
*Rotton Surgical Group
*Flippen Elementary School
*Braspeed Auto Sales
*R.Soles
*Crazy Woman Creek Road
*Turistfart
*Obama Fingers

I was wondering if anyone also had some funny titles they wanted to share~

(This might be moved to a different category if needed.)

I love driving by a sign for "Maybe Road" and keep wondering when they will decide if it is a road or not.

It's not a title, but I've heard of a priest named Fr. Hardon.

Could anyone take a war seriously when it's called Bay of Pigs?

Any movie where the main character's name is the movie's title.

Examples:
John Carter
Larry Crowne
Michael Clayton
Jack Reacher
Napoleon Dynamite

I don't understand your objection at all. It seems rather petty and meaningless.

In any case, I dare you to say that to John Wayne (or would if he were still alive):

Rooster Cogburn
McClintock
Big Jim McLain
Hondo
Chisum
Big Jake
Cahill, United States Marshal
McQ
Brannigan

Then, don't trash-talk me. :x

Anyway, these phrases I find difficult to understand because to me, they make no sense at all.

"Beating around the bush."

"It's like putting socks on a rooster."

"Did you cut the cheese?"

"Whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas."

"I'll be a monkey's uncle."

Out of curiosity, what is your objection to movies with the main character's name as the title?

I don't have an objection to movies with the main character's name as the title. If you find my perspective hard to understand, that's OK with me. Such movies to me are biopics in disguise. {PM me if you want to understand more.}

Anyway, here are a few of the most awkward names I've heard:

William Williams

David Davis

James Jamieson

Ben Gay

Rose Bush

Ben Dover

Hugh DeMann

Forrest Walker

Used to know an elderly gentleman (to use the term loosely) named Jack Knoff.

Richard Richard Richards IV

Yes, thats right the FOURTH. The Full Name. His grandfather wrote him out of the will when he would not name his any of his son That.

In Beloit WI there is a car dealer named Bud Weiser. And he won when Budweiser(the Beer Company) sued him for name infringement because that was his given name at birth.
