My results:

You Like to Be Scared Sometimes

Image

For you, being frightened is a lot like Halloween candy. Good in moderate doses, especially during the right time of year.
You don't like anything too creepy or too goofy, but yes, you do enjoy a good scare every now and then.

Being scared out of your mind reminds you that you're alive, and it's a great release when you're all finished.
Of all the types, you are actually the most likely to get into a horror movie. You are good at imagining how it all feels.

You Love to Be Scared a Lot

You're the type of person who wishes it were Halloween year round. You love spooky, scary things.
In fact, you're probably so used to the horrific underworld that it takes a bit to scare you. You always appreciate the effort though.

You find the darker sides of life fascinating, the more morose and morbid, the better. You like some pretty offbeat stuff.
You actually think that there is an upside to all the horror you consume - it gives you a broader view of the world and a better ability to deal with it.

This is true! :)

I don't like being scared at all but some of those things just don't scare me. I don't think a ghost story would scare me because I know it's a story & won't actually happen or involve me & I don't really care for them but I may find the stuff going on interesting & entertaining. I like suspenseful movies but they don't scare me because I know their movies & thus not real-life. I don't know if a haunted house would scare me because I know those things are fake but I don't like being startled.

Exactly! Horror is my fave genre but while I find it exciting it doesn't scare me because it's not real. Same for ghost stories and haunted houses, creepypasta, urban legends. So apparently being a horror fan means I like being scared.
No, I hate being scared. I hate things that truly scare me. Make-believe just isn't one of them. I wish I could get scared by things that are fictional, but unfortunately all my scares are real and not the least bit enjoyable.
