A list of tips for life learned thus far.

Outdoors:
1. In winter remember to tuck in your under shirt to stay warm.
2. Areas where you can take a pulse should be properly insulated in winter and cooled during the summer
3. A hot wet bandanna or shemagh can be cooled by quickly snapping the cloth.
4. Avoid ticks by staying off animal trails.
5. Know how to tie a clove hitch, slip knot, constrictor knot, and truckers hitch
6. A river is never calm.

Life:
1. If a girl is acting crazy or strange around you, then she might be flirting.
2. Directions are meant to be followed not ignored.
3. If it seems like a bad idea it generally is.
4. If you need to get out of a situation quick pretend to be sick and watch the sea of humanity part.

Technology:
1. Never tell anyone you know a lot about computers.
2. Avoid simple passwords and never directly answer a security question ( Your favorite color is dog2 not blue)
3. A carburetor is a mechanic term for $hit.
4. Google translate can be used as a proxy.
5. Use a penny to check your tires. If you can see the top of Abe's head you need new tires.
6. Check your spare tires pressure once a year. It is probably low.
7. The correct screw bit should fit all the way to the bottom and should have no play.
8. Keep a spare battery for your phone in your wallet or purse ( unless it's an Iphone :lmao: )

one rule that has never failed me each time I employed it, is "'tis better to keep silent and as a fool be thought, than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt." it even rhymes :)

Never wear a coat outside in the winter. That way it'll feel even warmer indoors.

strive to keep a neutral mindset, neither dwelling upon potential sorrows nor joys. let all surprises be pleasant ones or at least foreseen ones.

On my first day I was naked, drooled, and probably took a massive newborn dump. Good times... good times.

Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
