Imagine if there was a spelling bee that included contestants from both the U.S. and Great Britain. How would that work?

Well, for ONE, either Brits would have to leave out the "U", or Americans would have to ADD a "U", for certain words like "flavor", "labor", "color"; OR, maybe they could allow for either spelling, and approve it depending on who spelled it.

The idea of a spelling bee is preposterous.

I've never even heard one of them speak.
