Well here is an online quiz that you can take: Which Element Are You? - Element Personality Quiz

My result: Gold
Element Personality Quiz Result

You are gold. Gold is a precious metal. Gold is beautiful and valuable. It is soft and malleable. It resists corrosion and is a good electrical and thermal conductor. Gold sets the standard for many currencies. Its melting point is an assigned value that is used to calibrate temperature scales. Gold isn't always 'gold'... it can be purple or red or other colors depending on the size of the gold particles.

That's funny. I was doing the test not longer than three days ago - my friends considered it a nice pastime during our meeting. As a payback I made them do the Aspie quiz, they got 13 and 18/50 points, what a surprise... I was sure they are a little closer to the spectrum.

Anyway. My result is:

You are iron. Iron is a metal that is used for many purposes. It is hard tough and somewhat brittle and inflexible. Iron is found in hemoglobin, where it is used in the transport of soluble gases. Iron is sometimes magnetic. Though the fresh metal is silvery, it corrodes and darkens easily.

But my NT friend got iron too. The quiz needs more results.

I got helium.

You are helium. After hydrogen, helium is the most abundant element in the universe. Helium is stable. Chemically speaking, it tends to keep to itself, with no real inclination to react with other elements. Helium is a gas that is lighter than air. Helium has the lowest melting point of any element. The melting point is so low that it would not solidify even at absolute zero under ordinary pressure.

You are carbon. Carbon takes many forms. You see pure carbon as the toner in your printer (carbon black), as diamonds, and as the 'lead' in your pencil (graphite). Carbon is found in all living cells. It participates in many chemical reactions. This non-metallic element has been known since prehistoric time. Some people consider it to be a ho-hum boring element, yet others value it for its countless uses.

"You are plutonium. Plutonium is a rare, radioactive metal. It is used to produce nuclear power and as an explosive in nuclear weapons. The complete detonation of a kilogram of plutonium produces an explosion equal to that produced by 20,000 tons of chemical explosives. The pure metal is silver, but it turns yellowish when it tarnishes in air. Plutonium gives off enough energy from alpha decay that the metal is warm to the touch. "

I took the online quiz, and my result was: Helium

We, the people on the Autistic Spectrum have a choice.
We can either try to "fit in" with the rest of society, or we can be so egocentric that we can't be bothered.
I choose the actor. I observe NT's. I listen to their socializing. I practice it, so in social situations I can just emulate/mimic what is expected.
It isn't natural for me, but it enables me to "fit in".
It is VERY tiring and draining, but at least we can appear like them even though it is an act. Like being on the stage.
They can't see it is emulation, and so we are accepted.
