Wrinkle In Time: Your perceptions form a tesseract.

Dune: The spice expands conciousness, but turns you into a mutant trapped in a capsule preventing contact with outsiders.
As for BSG, there's a perfect example of something resembling full-blown autism, there. The 'Pilots' of the Cylon Basestars.
Hyperdrive: "Have you met my Enhanced?" *groin kick* "Oh, sorry about that, she's a little odd around strangers...."
MST3k: "Your movie today is 'Welcome to the Real World', starring about 6 billion NT's."
Firefly is interesting, as well. In one episode, it's explained that River's 'tampering' is caused by intentional trauma to the Amygdala, which helps you curb your emotions in times of stress. It's believed that this part of the brain is actually enlarged in those with Aspergers' Syndrome.
Heroes: You're Hiro.
