I am not otaku. anime is meaningless to me.

I am of wabi nature. Wabibito.

Learning, disciplined of mind, to be content with whatever one has, even if one has nothing. If you have a mind like this nothing can be taken from you because you understand that you own nothing, not even your own life.

I'm not really sure if I'm actually an otaku or not, but I just happen to like anime more than regular cartoons. Regular cartoons, nowadays, are just a bunch of bologna to me. Cartoons from the previous generation, such as "Ed, Edd n Eddy" and "Rugrats", those sure were the good old days. But today's cartoons, like "Sanjay and Craig" and the new episodes of "SpongeBob Squarepants"? Ugh! I'm just glad I like anime because, to me, they make more sense than regular cartoons, albeit some fan service.

Here is the anime I have enjoyed: Fairy Tail, Elemental Gelade, DNAngel, A Certain Magical Index/Scientific Railgun, Anything by Studio Ghibli, Pokémon, Log Horizon, Fruits Basket, K-ON, and Ouran High School Host Club.
