why isn't this just grouped with the random? now i'm confused. then what goes in the random discussion? this is going to be super confusing. I thought the random discussion was for going off the wall?!

This forum was mainly created for games, quizzes and roleplay, because as I am sure you cannot have failed to notice, the large number of quizzes was causing an issue for some. And maybe this question would have been better placed in Alex's thread at the top.

I was a bit confused. But now I'm used to it.

Well, that's why I want Random Discussion to be renamed as Obsessions and/or What's on your Mind Forums.

I think it is the 'off the wall' part that confuses, along with the fact half the games have been left in random. Either all the games go in random or all here, maybe? Or this is simply and purely for quizzes and roleplay.

Aspies maybe are change adverse so they hate this new sub-forum less hopefully than
the random forum being suddenly flooded full of quizzes.

Because PSOT needed a forum in which it was perfectly okay.

I had a thought that instead of posting these quiz answers there should be discussion along with them myes~? I do try to make some input but otherwise I am ignored. If anything threads like those only seem to buff up your post count.

Post count is just a sign of being on too much. But, I agree. If we're not going to discuss, why bother posting at all? Even if it's just little comments. Another board that I'm on is filled with these, along with discussion, and it's a lot of fun - a good way to play with one another.

There is this thing called individual difference. It means that not everyone shares your view. This forum is no more pointless than any other...it serves to provide a place for people to roleplay which is actually rather creative and imaginative, and involves far too much effort to be considered a post elevator. The quizzes are so people can *shock* have some fun! you know, that thing where your mind isn't on 100% analytical power etc etc. This forum is not about discussion. Most of the rest of the forum is dedicated to discussion of one kind or another, isn't that enough for you? I would suggest that if this forum does not appeal, then you simply stay away from it...seems the logical thing to do.

I don't think that there should be a lot of discussion. But it's fun to make comments here and there. Everything but the quiz threads is fine - I'd just enjoy reading other's posts in the quizes more if they added something more than the automatically generated answer. Not that the world should bend over to please me, or anything (well, maybe it should - but it won't). Still, just bringing the point up might make some more likely to throw a comment in who were afraid to.
