I usually have about five books on the go:

Just finishing The Fionavar Tapestry for the umpteenth time
Just picked up Vanity Fair to see if it is better than the last time I tried
Mansfield Park is waiting to be opened, as I need to read it for a play in January
Have started The Tale of Edgar Sawtelle and Queer Fear

On deck I have A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius and The Halifax Connection

:)

I'm now reading "Dragon" by Clive Cussler.

Before that it was;

"Blaze" by Stephen King
"Doctor Who - Made of Steel" by Terrance Dicks (a bedtime book - two pages and I'm asleep)
"Raising a Left-Brained Child in a Right-Brained World" by Katharine Beals PhD. (I reviewed it here).

Does the Onion's 'Our Dumb Century' count?

If not, then it defaults to The Shadow Out of Time (and other stories) by H.P. Lovecraft.

The Monster of Florence non-fiction by Douglas Preston and Mario Spezi. After reading this I have serious doubts as to whether Amanda Knox has gotten a fair trial or whether she should have even been charged. The book is not about her btw, but about the investigation of a still unsolved string of murder and mutilation. I have just started 1491 by Charles C. Mann.

Currently reading "Brother Odd", the third book in Dean Koontz's "Odd Thomas" Trilogy.

They're quite good.
